Psychotherapy vs Coaching
There are some similarities between coaching and psychotherapy but Beth does not combine psychotherapy with coaching. She sees these as separate roles and separate conversations. Although both coaching and psychotherapy use knowledge of human behavior, motivation, behavioral change and interactive counseling techniques, there are differences in the goals, focus and level of professional responsibility.
